Holiday Gift Guide Supporting Female Owned Businesses

December 6, 2021Makenzie Stokel

Every year some of us struggle to brainstorm what to give for loved ones for the holiday season. Let us help you with some brainstorming! Our holiday list features women-owned businesses in Central Texas. If you buy from this list, you are supporting small businesses, embracing women empowerment, and investing in your local community and economy.

Fitness

Do you have a loved one who is super into fitness or is trying to find some flexibility to accommodate fitness? We recommend getting a membership from Pilates Reformation (@PilatesReformation). Becoming a member of this fitness platform allows you to have access to online pilates classes (including live classes) and group pilates events. These classes are for everybody and every level. Membership is $33 monthly and there is a free trial for your first 7 days.

Fashion

Is your friend the fashion icon of the group? Is your loved one the Beyonce of their family? A new online boutique store based in Austin just opened up! The Maryluu Boutique (@maryluu.theboutique) carries trendy, chic, and flirty women’s clothes. Use code “YWA” for a 15% discount.

Food

You can never go wrong with snacks. The Real Food Bar has gift bundles! The variety of their granola bars are vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO. Their granola bars are filled with nutrients for muscle recovery, antioxidants and soluble prebiotics that are slow digesting and easy on the stomach. This means you can consume pre- or post- workout or as a great start to the day. Check out their Holiday Gift Bundle and their Adventure is Out There Gift Bundle.

Can you associate your friend as a real life Cookie Monster? If so, you should consider getting them one of the Holiday Cookie Packages from Goodies Cookie Delivery. Their holiday season flavors include triple chocolate candy cane, gingerbread, cinnamon cranberry oatmeal, and Mexican hot chocolate. Get your favorite cookie flavors delivered by the dozen, create your own cookie variety boxes, or choose from Goodies most popular cookie combo packages including the new Winter Cookie Variety Package with all of our fresh baked seasonal flavors. Goodies also offers customizable cookie platters for a sweet touch to Holiday events and meetings. Check out the cookie variety boxes. Gift cards are also available.

Do you have a friend that is crazy about peanut butter? We suggest checking out the variety of peanut butters from Americano Foods. Their peanut butter is vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, and no preservatives. Their jars are even recyclable! Their flavors include choco blanco, cinnamon honey, and cinnamon roasted almond.

Empowerment Gifts

Would you like to give an extra reminder to your friends that you really appreciate their existence? Wolf + Bloom has a shop with empowerment gifts that include caps, joggers, tumblers, and shirts. Check out this shop! If you’re looking to gift an experience they also create intimate picnics that can include anything from charcuterie boards & wine to cornhole and polaroid camera rentals.
