Representing diverse industries, backgrounds, and experiences, these women generously volunteer their time, talent, and leadership because they believe in the power of empowering, supporting, and connecting women in Austin. Together, they bring YWA’s mission to life and create opportunities for women across our community to connect, grow, lead, and thrive.

Lillian is an Advisory Strategy Designer & Worldwide Design Lead at IBM, where she blends strategy, creativity, and leadership to drive meaningful outcomes. An active YWA leader since 2021 and now serving as President, she is passionate about building community & empowering women to grow in confidence & leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys pilates, reading, interior design, & exploring Austin with her husband, Tanner, and their three dogs.

Jacie is the Associate Director of Development at St. Edward’s University. Outside of work and YWA, Jacie enjoys volunteering with Seedling Mentors and Austin Sunshine Camps, catching movies at Alamo Drafthouse with her spouse, cheering on Austin FC, and exploring the ATX food scene.

Peyton is a Partner Development Executive at Apple, where she works closely with partners to drive growth and innovation. She’s been a YWA member and leader since 2022. She especially enjoys volunteering events, YWA Speaks, and Cookbook Club – anything that brings people together. In her free time, Peyton loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Jack, and their dog, Asher in their new home.

Juliette is an Enterprise Senior Account Executive at Indeed who brings energy, curiosity, and a love for connection to everything she does. Originally from Seattle and now calling Austin home for the past 10 years, she enjoys cozy puzzle nights, getting lost in a good book, cooking up something new, wine tasting, restaurant hopping, and exploring new corners of the world.

Tillie is an Account Executive at SHI International Corp, a value-added IT reseller, where she assists customers in selecting, deploying & managing technology needs. She is an avid reader and spin class taker, and enjoys walking with her rambunctious 2-year-old puppy, Winnie. Her favorite YWA events are Book Club, Speaks, and MAP!

Kara Davis is a Senior Anti-Money Laundering Analyst at Kestra Financial. She is passionate about financial literacy and supporting the Austin community! Kara has also been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sister for over 6 years, and loves getting to spend time with her mentee. In her free time, she enjoys painting, traveling to new places, and exploring Austin!

Aarika Anderson is a Senior Auditor at Atchley & Associates where she works on government agencies and not for profits. Although she was not raised in Austin she has been a Texas native since she can remember. She is happily married with two pug mixes, Stitch and Little Debbie. Her hobbies include reading, crotchet, and anime. She also enjoys traveling, tv shows and movies, and cooking.

Meena Pyatt is a Designer at Middle Seat, an agency supporting progressive causes and campaigns. She is passionate about community service and previously served as a Senior Community Service Chair for two years. Outside of work you’ll find her doing anything artsy, volunteering at APA!, doing yoga, and spending time with her dog and cat.

Maddie is an Enrollment Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is passionate about making a difference in her community, and helping others. Originally from Georgia, Maddie lived in New York before moving to Austin but loves all there is to do in this city (especially all of the great food!). Outside of YWA, Maddie loves baking, cooking, reading, traveling, volunteering, and doing dog sports with her pups Pita and Babka.

Morgan is the Associate Director of Annual Giving for Dell Children’s Foundation, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, where she partners with local organizations to help meet fundraising goals. A native Texan, she moved to Austin in 2016 and enjoys spending her free time cheering on the Longhorns, listening to live music, and walking around Lady Bird Lake. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and giving back to her community.

Maggie is a Clinical Product Pharmacist at Arine, passionate about improving patient care and making healthcare more affordable. Originally from Ohio, she’s embraced Austin as her home for the past 5 years. When she’s not working, you’ll find her performing with the River City Pops or the Bastrop Opera House. She’s also a proud cat mom to Meta, her sweet tripod foster fail.

Meg works in Human Resources, focusing on policy development and compliance. Meg is originally from the suburbs of Washington D.C., and through activities like YWA, has made Austin her home since 2022. When not with YWA, Meg is an active member of The Junior League of Austin, the vice-preisdent of South Congress Womens Chorus, and a performer with the Austin samba community. She also shares a home (and a personality) with her cat, Monkey.

Rebecca is the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations at Midi Health, where she works across teams to improve processes and build systems that scale. She loves all things health and fitness, with an equal love of pastries to keep things balanced. In her free time, you’ll likely find her on top of a mountain somewhere on the other side of the world.

Julie is the Head of Engineering Services at TeamUP, where she sources and secures the aerospace, defense, and semiconductor partnerships that put her company’s engineering talent on mission-critical programs. She joined YWA as a member, became a LENS mentor, redesigned YWA Connect as Senior Chair of Mentorships, and now leads YWA Speaks and the programs portfolio. Outside YWA, find her at pilates, on a hike, or with her cat Everest and beta fish Aurora & Borealis.

Ariel is a Product Designer, who approaches projects with strategy, innovation, and passion. A YWA member since 2023, Ariel has loved getting more involved across Austin, and joining a community where members grow and connect with one another. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local businesses, pursuing cozy hobbies, and relaxing with her husband and two cats.
