Young Women’s Alliance in the Community
Service is one of the foundational pillars of the Young Women’s Alliance. We believe that supporting our community is one of the most meaningful ways we can live out our mission of empowering, supporting, and connecting women. Through volunteer opportunities across Austin, our members give back while building relationships with one another and the organizations making a difference in our city.
YWA hosts at least one community volunteer event every month, partnering with nonprofits and organizations that support a wide variety of causes. Whether we’re mentoring girls with the Girls Empowerment Network, supporting campers at Austin Sunshine Camps, organizing donations at Pease Park, volunteering with CASA Marianella, helping care for animals at Austin Animal Center, supporting the Center for Child Protection, or serving alongside one of our many community partners, there’s always an opportunity to get involved.
Every service event is an opportunity to support an organization doing important work in Austin while connecting with fellow YWA members. We believe that small acts of service add up to meaningful change, and we’re proud to give our members regular opportunities to make a difference in the community we all call home.
