Where to Order Thanksgiving Takeout in Austin 2021

November 8, 2021Makenzie Stokel

As the last Halloween candies are being eaten and temperatures begin to drop, Americans are starting to prepare for their holiday season. The chance to eat great food, watch hours of football games, and get a few days off work to enjoy time with loved ones makes Thanksgiving a favorite holiday for many people. But it can be extremely stressful for those that host this feast.

Having guests for any occasion can be nerve-racking, let alone for a huge meal. Some of the biggest challenges can be scheduling when to cook each dish so they are ready at the same time and timing how long the turkey is in the oven so it’s not over cooked.

Maybe none of your guests are helpful in the kitchen or it’s possible that you don’t even have the space for everyone to help. Not only do you need all the right ingredients, but you also need the right amount of plates and silverware.

Another scenario might be that you have a small guest list but still want the traditional Thanksgiving meal. You don’t want to cook an entire turkey and seven side dishes for four people, even though the leftovers can be the best part.

Whatever your Thanksgiving Day looks like, cooking might not be the best option for you and your family. Luckily in Austin, TX you have plenty of other options to pick up delicious meals that are ready to reheat when you are. Here are 8 options for Thanksgiving takeout in Austin.

Fresa’s – South First

Enjoy a Mexican twist on your traditional Thanksgiving foods from Fresa’s. Whether it’s the whole meal, a few sides or a homemade pie, Fresa’s has many re-heatable options. Some of their 2021 offerings include chorizo stuffing, citrus Serrano cranberry sauce, sweet potato mash, and of course roasted turkey breast. https://www.fresaschicken.com/

Dai Due – Cherrywood

Go classic with a 100% non-GMO organic fed turkey from Belle Vie Farm or mix it up with ham, brined quail, or turducken sausage. https://www.exploretock.com/daidue/
