As an organization that supports, empowers, and connects all women, we have a duty to use our collective voices to support, empower, and elevate our Black members and Black women everywhere. We encourage our members to continue to engage in thoughtful and respectful dialogue, to listen to marginalized voices, to explore anti-racist resources, and to support organizations doing important social justice work in the community.
Anti-Racist Resources
There’s no shortage of resources out there for you, no matter where you are on your journey of education and activism. Rather than reinvent the wheel, we’re pointing you towards a few repositories of content and resources from sources we trust.

Taking Action for Racial Justice
With so much going on, and so many great efforts nationally and across the globe to end racial injustice, it can be challenging to know how best to make an impact. A new initiative at Notley allows individuals to give, learn, and engage with racial justice work on an ongoing basis.
Notley Tide.
For a monthly donation of any amount — 100% of which goes directly to Notley’s racial justice partners — you’ll receive monthly action items to advance racial justice, impact reports, regular updates on relevant legislation, and opportunities to connect with other Notley Tide members.

Moving Forward
We are currently working on developing a series of programming around anti-racism, and next month our Book Club will be reading White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People to Talk About Racism. If you have suggestions for more anti-racist resources we can share with our community, or if you would like to share your thoughts and feedback, please email marketing@youngwomensalliance.org.
