In the fall, the members of Young Women’s Alliance rallied together to raise $15,000 for two causes: The Young Women’s Alliance Foundation and the nonprofit Dress For Success. We exceeded our fundraising goal, and now it’s time to see where all of the hard work and money is going.
If you didn’t know, the Young Women’s Alliance Foundation empowers tomorrow’s female leaders by awarding educational scholarships for girls and women and providing grants to the organizations that serve them, ultimately inspiring all women to give back to their community.
On Sunday, May 1 the ladies of the Events Committee will put on our Spring Soiree to illustrate why the Young Women’s Alliance Foundation is so important. At the event, members and friends of YWA will have the opportunity to see the lucky young women who will receive the YWAF scholarship and grant.
There will also be a raffle, music, fun activities, light bites and beverages.
