BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2023–2024

Brittany serves as the executive director of the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and is a licensed attorney. Her favorite YWA event is Book Club, even when she doesn’t read the book (which happens a lot). Brittany was embracing the coastal grandmother trend ahead of the curve and loves gardening, traveling, and spending time with her incorrigible dog, Finn.

Eunice is an Associate Manager at Accenture, where she creatively solves problems implementing Workday, an HR software. Her favorite YWA events are committee meetings to get to know a small group of members on a regular basis while giving back to the organization! Eunice’s passions are wine-ing and dining at restaurants, running alongside Lady Bird, attempting to be a plant mom, practicing golf at Jimmy Clay, and watching organization YouTube.

By day, Leah is a strategic business partner and program manager fore the Revenue team at Bazaarvoice. Her favorite YWA event is Speaker Series because it always leaves her feeling inspired and ready for a new challenge. In her spare time, you can find her playing tennis, walking the trail at Town Lake, or trying a new restaurant in town.
Leah Christensen
Morgan works as a global team lead supporting a finance team at Dell Technologies. She loves the diversity of events YWA has to offer, but volunteering with DVHS students is definitely her favorite way to spend time. Outside of work and YWA, you might find her trying a new restaurant, taking a class at Pure Pilates, or snuggling her two dogs, Murphy and Lefty. Morgan and her husband Alexander are expecting a baby boy (their first!) in July 2023.
Morgan Prince

Nikki is a global project and M&A manager for the people organization at Media.Monks. Her favorite YWA event is YWA on the Fairway because it encourages women to feel comfortable on the golf course, all while having fun and raising money for the FWLF. Outside of work and YWA, Nikki enjoys classes at corepower yoga, golfing, adventures with her dog Oliver, and being on or near the water. Her and her partner Will just bought their first house together and are enjoying making it a home!

Samantha is a Database Marketing Manager at Veeam, where she enjoys owning the email marketing database, creating new metrics and digging into data. Her favorite YWA event is now Speaker Series where you learn so much from amazing women in the Austin community to help you grow personally and professionally. Outside of YWA and work, Samantha loves to read, travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with family and friends (including her cat, Frankie).
Samantha Nowak

Sara serves as a campus recruiter at Deloitte Consulting, where she supports college students seeking their first job with the firm. Her favorite YWA event is Speaker Series and she tries not to miss any other opportunity to socialize over wine and cheese. When she’s not traveling for work or pleasure, she’s paddleboarding on Town Lake, taking a Peloton class, or enjoying all Austin has to offer with her husband, Michael, and their delightfully dramatic dachshund, Peanut.
Sara Santiago

Peyton is a Partner Development Executive at Apple where she coaches and collaborates with partners to sell Apple products. She loves all YWA events, but especially loves Speaker Series and Book Club. She enjoys the food scene in Austin and keeps a long list of all the places she wants to try. Peyton and her fiancé Jack are planning their Austin wedding happening in 2024!
Peyton Porche

Megan is an Enterprise Advocate at Atlassian, where she guides customers toward the company’s enterprise solutions to accelerate their digital transformations. Her favorite thing to do with YWA is volunteering for workshops and events at Del Valle High School to support the growth and development of their students. Outside of her professional life, you can find Megan spending time with her beagle Sasha, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and traveling to see friends and family. She loves hiking, relaxing by the lake, attending concerts, and reading a book in her free time.

Lauren is a Business Intelligence Developer at Indeed and is passionate about empowering others to make data-driven decisions. Her favorite YWA events are Book Club and Party of 8 because they provide the a smaller setting to connect with members. Lauren enjoys baking sourdough bread, attempting to learn to garden, thrifting, and outdoor adventuring.
Lauren Cowen

Meredith is a passionate Chef and Entrepreneur, and the owner of Goodies, a local fresh-baked gourmet sweets delivery company. As an Austin Native, making a positive impact locally is very important to her and she loves the mission of YWA to build a community supporting and empowering women. Her favorite YWA event is the annual YWA on the Fairway golf tournament benefitting the Future Women Leaders Fund.
Meredith Norman

Tillie is a VMware Customer Success Manager at SHI International Corp, helping customers in California and Arizona manage renewals and strategic licensing agreements. Her favorite YWA events (outside of the fundraising events of course!) are the golf lessons and Party of 8 get-togethers. Outside of YWA, Tillie is an avid workout enthusiast (she’s taken over 300 classes at F45 Training!). She also loves taking advantage of any patio Austin has to offer, spending time with friends and family, and being outside.
Tillie Stiling

Anwuli is a versatile finance professional with a track record of starting up new finance organizations and scaling them for growth in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments. Her favorite thing about YWA is the ability to meet and connect with new people. Outside of work and YWA, she loves food, reading, and listening to music. She’s always open to trying out new restaurants, especially if they have great bread!
Anwuli Chukwurah

Carley is a Program Manager at Twilio, where she drives the strategy and execution of their first-party developer events. Raised in Austin, her pride for her community combined with her passion for empowering women & the next generation of leaders drives her to give back through her service with YWA. In her free time, you can catch Carley wielding hammers and watching DIY renovation tutorials on YouTube. She is determined to make her house the envy of all her neighbors, or at least the one with the most holes in the walls!
Carley Thomas

Sarah is a Tax Director at PwC where she collaborates with clients on consulting and tax planning opportunities in the State & Local Asset and Wealth Management space. While Sarah only joined YWA for the organized Book Club, she has stayed due to the many amazing women she has met and to further the mission of developing the next generation of women leaders. Outside of work and YWA you can often find Sarah at a coffee shop knitting with her 2 rescue dogs who are often begging for pets from passers by.
Sarah Markell Richardson

Cidnye is an Early Career Recruiter at NBCUniversal where she helps college students navigate their first internships, jobs, and career. She is passionate about helping people with their professional development and connecting them to opportunities to network, learn, and grow. As the former Speaker Series Co-Chair, it is only fitting that Cidnye’s favorite YWA event is Speaker Series where everyone leaves feeling inspired and motivated by women leaders in the Austin community. Cidnye has also loved getting to volunteer with the Girls Empowerment Network, the Austin Diaper Bank and getting to sit on the scholarship review committee. Outside of work you will find Cidnye trying a new restaurant, traveling, doing a Peloton workout, jamming out to Taylor Swift, or on a family walk with her husband Joe and their mini goldendoodle Waffle.

Julie works as a Business Analyst at Grant Street Group, where she unites her love of data and working with people by implementing govtech software to new clients. Her favorite YWA events are community service opportunities, especially gardening at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Outside YWA, you can usually find her at local coffee shops reading or working on her latest embroidery project.
Julie Fieldsteel

Isha is employed as a global supply chain manager on the services team at Dell Technologies. She has a strong affinity for YWA due to the support and encouragement it provides to women, and her personal favorite YWA event is the Speaker Series. When she’s not working or engaged with YWA, she enjoys traveling, and when she’s at home, her preferred leisure activities are painting and cooking. Isha tied the knot at the beginning of 2023, marking a recent milestone in her life.

Lillian works in Client Engineering as an Innovation Designer at IBM, where she navigates business strategy through design thinking. Lillian loves all YWA events & programs, but she especially loves Speaker Series, YWA Connect, and Book Club. Outside of work and YWA, Lillian enjoys breaking a sweat doing pilates, dabbling in interior design, trying a new restaurant, and learning to speak French – c’est très amusant! Lillian moved to Austin in 2019 from Louisville, KY with her husband, Tanner, and their three dogs Lipton, Cora, and Sage.
