Austin Under 40
Austin Under 40 is YWA’s biggest fundraiser of the year. AU40 brings together Austin’s best and brightest leaders under the age of 40 within 16 different industry categories. This committee is responsible for the coordination of the event, co-hosted with the Young Men’s Business League (YMBL). Funds from the fundraiser help us provide scholarships to young ladies in Austin, mentoring for our professional young women, and an annual grant for the Girl’s Empowerment Network (GEN).
The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the organization’s brand and promoting awareness of both YWA and the YWA Foundation. Through collateral development, public relations, event promotion, membership exclusive newsletters and deployment of engaging social media tactics the Communications Committee builds the rapport and strength of the YWA|F brand to key stakeholders; ensuring marketed success of each committee’s strategic goals.
The Community Service Committee is responsible for planning monthly volunteer opportunities and encouraging members to serve the Austin community. Join us to help plan service efforts, share your ideas, or just learn more about what we do and how you can help.
The Events Committee is responsible for the planning, organizing, and completion of both member-only, and public events.
The Finance committee is responsible for the execution of all financial administrative duties. This committee works in conjunction with each VP on the Board of Directors to help reconcile all financial transactions.
